Jacksons Building Services – Health & Safety Statement

As a sole-trader building business, Jacksons Building Services is a PCBU under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. I am committed to providing a safe workplace for myself, my clients, and any subcontractors.

Our commitments

Identify, assess, and manage hazards “so far as is reasonably practicable.”

Use appropriate PPE (gloves, hearing protection, dust masks, safety glasses, fall protection where required).

Maintain safe work practices for tools, ladders, and machinery.

Keep work areas tidy and secure at the end of each day.

Comply with building consent requirements and council safety regulations.

Stop work immediately if unsafe conditions are identified.

Client responsibilities

Provide safe access to the site and notify us of any known hazards (e.g. asbestos, electrical issues, underground services).

Keep children, pets, and other occupants away from the work area.

Subcontractors

Where subcontractors are engaged, we will consult and coordinate with them on health and safety responsibilities.
